With its origins in a traditional home kitchen full of rich flavors, Eric had the dream of opening up a restaurant here for his family. His childhood friend and wife, Emica fully supported him for his love of food and respect for Japanese culture. A dream turned into reality when Natsukashii was founded in 2022.
What started as a small and humble Japanese Restaurant has grown into what it is today, completely transforming Chicago with its original inherited dishes and inviting atmosphere.
